andy's costume this year consisted of a little face paint (by a professional - thanks for thinking that i'm that good ... but it wasn't me!) and dark clothes.
this is precisely why i don't like halloween - you take an innocent thing like a jack-o-lantern, add a little scary imagination and you get creepfest 2008!!
ps ... i feel i need to clarify, yes - he did get this painted on friday night for the party that night and then slept on the couch, of his own accord (as many of you know he has sleep apnea and sleeps with a CPAP that covers his nose and would have smudged the paint job) NOT because i was scared of him or because i didn't want it on the pillow ... he wanted to 'save' it for our ward party! so, while i was delighted to NOT sleep next to the scariest pumpkin in town ... i didn't force him to sleep on the couch.

yikes!
I love the Christmas music! Can't wait!
That is crazy! Did you guys go to a party or something to get that fantastic of a face paint?? The seeds are so realistic!
Scary! On the way home from the Halloween party, Rick told me that Andy had gotten that done the day before and had worked hard to not mess it up before the party. Is it true that he even slept on the couch? Too funny.
Wow, that's impressive!
p.s. I love your Christmas music! :):)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhgggggggg! That is a seriously scary face! Oh my goodness...were the kids freaked out?! Sooooo spooky!
Creepy! Who the heck painted that?
That is awesome!!
That is pretty crazy, I'm sure your kids thought it was awesome! my real question is: was it easy to clean off? And did he break out from all that grease on his face for so long?
holy cow...I would have never recognized him!! :) cool paint job though!
I can't believe what can be done with makeup...creepy.
I realized today that I often get on your blog, even when I know there are no new posts, just because I want to hear Christmas music!
