more tooth fairy sightings

saturday, dec 8th, elyssa finally got that extremely loose tooth out of her mouth - with her own tongue. she won't let anyone touch them ... the thought of losing teeth is not pleasant to this little girl. even the incentive of money from the tooth fairy isn't enough! she cried when she discovered that they were loose. (i took a picture of the actual event - the blood and recently dislodged tooth - but as i have mentioned before, my camera needs to be decommissioned and summarily executed, leaving behind only the SD card to carry on in a newer, faster, better camera! please help me! and thank you if you already have!) needless to say, we are on the fast track to toothless grins, only cut-up apples, and brace-face!

Hooray for Elyssa! But I think she has a kindred spirit in Zach. He is not so excited about the tooth loss anymore either. After he lost the first one he came into the living room crying after bedtime to say he loved his lost tooth and missed it, it was so pretty. The second went without a prob, but the third is still in the toothfairy box because he refuses to put it under his pillow so he can look at it and that fourth one has been hanging by a thread for two days now and he won't let me touch it because he likes it too much where it is! So funny!

I don't blame her for wanting to keep that tooth right where it is! I wouldn't wanted to lose them either! Did I mention Jacob just knocked out another one of Bailey's teeth? So sad really.

Wow. I have never heard of a child crying about just the thought of loosing a tooth. What a sweetie!
