Our Rainy {Labor} Day

we brought out our own blue sky for a picnic at grandma and papa's lot

and then spent a couple hours at the
Skater Appreciation Day at the Skate Deck
(we can't pass up $2 admission days)

and then headed home for some spaghetti and watermelon dinner then our dad gave us father's blessings in preparation for the upcoming school year.  can it really be that time again?!
